From the Heart of Burgundy - A Stew so Heavenly!
What more can be said about this timeless classic French country stew - Boeuf Bourguignon. Chunks of beef stewed slowly to a mouthwatering tenderness with carrots, mushrooms, shallots and garlic in a rich homemade beef broth with burgundy wine and flavored with bay leaves and thyme. Serve with boiled herb-potato slices and never forget the wine to go with it. Ooh la la!
