The Great Banh Mi's Tasty Baby Brother!

Here is another version of the iconic Vietnamese sandwich - Banh Mi Xiu Mai or Vietnamese Meatball Sandwich. Juicy pork meatballs mixed with shiitake and wood-ear mushrooms, shallots, garlic and spices all cooked in a tangy tomato sauce then loaded onto a crusty baguette and topped with scallions, cucumber and hot pepper slices.
